I am having a two-day oil pastel workshop at the JarrettThor Fine Arts gallery in Colonial Beach, VA, June 1-2, 2015.
The gallery is a commercial one with monthly exhibits. As the workshop participants you will be able to show your art in the Teacher/Alumni annual exhibit at the JarrettThor Fine Arts . It's a great opportunity for the artists as it's difficult to get into a commercial gallery, especially for free.
The gallery owners, Carl and Joyce, are extremely nice people. They provide an excellent setting for the workshop, including delicious lunch, snacks and drinks.
Colonial Beach is a very cozy resort place on the banks of the Potomac river, and the gallery is set right next to the beach. You will be able to
combine art and relaxation:) There are many good restaurants around. The gallery will help you to find accommodations.
